On Oct. 29, Better Days will supply guests with pumpkins and all materials needed for a fun night of pumpkin carving.
Better Days Brickell’s first ever Pop-Up Bar will officially open its doors on Friday, August 8, 2014. Open 7 days a week from 5 pm to 5 am, the bar is located in a Thrift Shop within the 500 Brickell Building. Not to be confused with a speakeasy, its incognito location is basically a subtle-deterrent or qualifier for guests who are “in the know.” It is the spot where models and misfits and high class sophisticates can all vibe in the same room.
Due to the overwhelming response from Miami, Better Days has been able to extend the pop up for another 30 days and will be celebrating with a week of exciting events starting Halloween Weekend.

You’ll begin the night searching for a vintage shop. Under the name “Dead Flamingo.” It’ll be the one with a wooden desk, fedora and flip clock in the storefront window.
As for why he chose Miami for own project, Schott raves, “Miami is at the forefront of culture, arts, music, and cool and there’s no better place to try to drive a stake into than the epicenter of it all.”

The pop-up bar phenomenon has found its way to Brickell with Better Days, tucked away through a vintage shop on the first floor of the 500 Brickell Building with a kooky dead flamingo logo.
The thoughtfully designed space took inspiration from retail brands and the 1970’s American culture to create a vintage & thrift shop within its storefront spaces and an incognito bar within.
BD’s outfitted like a 1970s living room where you can score craft cocktails like the Surfer in Recovery (Jäger, coconut water & pineapple soda) and enjoy a hot dog with a bag of Dirty chips like you would back home.
The summer brought a number of great new spots, including the quick come and go of Prost Wurstgrill & Bierhouse. But it wasn’t until Better Days, a pop-up craft beer and cocktail lounge found in the 500 Building, that the funky-fun-bar void was filled.
